A young model searching for love and acceptance, Jennifer found the world's standard of beauty and success — but it left her empty and longing for more. Then one day, on her knees in a church in Europe, she prayed.
God answered. And turned her mess into a message.
Today Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Writing & Literature and a Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism. She's the host of the In God's Eyes podcast, a TEDx speaker, an eight-time published author, and the co-founder of U R More — a ministry that teaches women and girls their value, identity, and purpose in Christ.
Above all, she is a blessed wife and mother of three, madly in love with her husband Shane — the man she affectionately calls the Cowboy. He grills the best steaks in Texas and she makes (arguably) the best spaghetti this side of Italy. They love gathering their family around the table and hiding away on the family ranch. Jen spends her days making their home a haven, writing about women and the Bible — and helping authors bring their books to life.
When I found the love of God, He turned my pain into purpose.
For press & event hosts
Jennifer Strickland is a TEDx speaker, host of the In God's Eyes podcast, and founder of U R More, a ministry that teaches people their value, identity, and purpose in Christ. She is the author of I Am a Woman, Girl Perfect, Beautiful Lies, More Beautiful Than You Know, and 21 Myths (Even Good) Girls Believe About Sex — and the creator of Let's Write, a coaching program that helps authors write, edit, and publish their books so they can impact lives.
In addition to holding a master's degree in Writing and Literature, Jen is a former model who appeared in Vogue and Cosmopolitan and walked the runway for Giorgio Armani — a perspective that helps her understand the battles women face over beauty and worth.
Honest, real, and unafraid to tackle controversial topics, Jennifer uses her life story, her knowledge of Scripture, and her love for women to expose the lies of the media and turn hearts back to God.

I Am a Woman
Taking Back Our Name
A bold, biblical call to reclaim the meaning and power of our name. In a culture confused about womanhood, Jennifer returns to the beginning — to the dignity and value God placed on women from the very first page of His Word.
